The moment with Mauikai on the street in Queens, performing for neighbors, friends, & kids on the block, was pure magic captured on video. I don’t know if you can sense that from the footage, but it was literally 100% unplanned and Robert (he says: “tell them my name is ROBERTO!”) cried real crocodile tears. Which is bugged, considering he’s known as the tough guy on the block. What a testament to the power of MUSIC to MOVE people and make us all FEEL. So beautiful.
